Paper chromatography in lower secondary education with scratch
Students in the 6th grade (natural science course) created a simulation of a chromatography in Scratch after conducting experiments on paper chromatography. The simulation was set up via a game and a program flowchart.

Gas chromatography in the upper secondary education
Gas chromatography can be treated in upper secondary education. A board game allows to access to the simulation, where randomly selected particles are shifted one step. Combining four such algorithms with different parameters, one can simulate the chromatogram of lighter gas, as shown in the video below.
